The Great Commission

The ministry of Heritage Baptist Church is based on the Great Commission found in Matthew 28:18-20. In this scripture Jesus instructs us to WITNESS to the lost, BAPTIZE them, and to TEACH them the Bible.

The Tool for the Ministry

We believe the Bible is the tool, given to us by God, to use in carrying out the Great Commission. According to II Timothy 3:16-17, “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.” The scripture (inspired by God) is profitable for every aspect of our life and that of our church.

Programs for this Ministry

Here at Heritage, we have Sunday School, Youth Ministries, Kids Worship, Team Kids, Women on Mission, Singing and Preaching. All of these programs are based on the Word of God, and aid our members in reaching their full potential as Christians for the kingdom of God.

• Children's Ministries: We are pleased to ensure parents we have a secured children's department. Every children's worker is screened with background checks, interviews and evaluated. We also have a two- person teacher policy for every class.
